POWERING DATA STORAGE OF THE FUTURE

As Moore’s Law becomes harder and harder to sustain, the semiconductor industry is looking for new ways to improve communication speeds, use less chip real-estate and reduce power consumption.

Opsydia have solved these problems by developing an adaptive optic direct laser writing system based on the groundbreaking work of our founding scientists, Professor Martin Booth and Dr. Patrick Salter at the university of Oxford

Who We Are

Opsydia is a leading innovator in commercially available laser technology that gives industries the ability to supercharge data writing with with extremely high resolution, speed and precision. Formed as a spin-out company from the University of Oxford, we specialise in creating high-volume industrial processes for practical applications based on cutting edge research.

Opsydia Systems

New from Opsydia, our P5000 Adaptive Optic Direct Laser Writing system allows users to create waveguides in optically transparent materials with extremely high resolution and precision. Using Adaptive Optics, many of the historical limitations of direct laser writing can be overcome. Our fully integrated, industrial machine includes exceptional metrology, enabling users certainty of location and removing much active alignment burden.
